How Zionism Perverted Judaism

Understanding How Zionism Perverted Judaism

Zionists perverted Judaism
Oh you foolish Zionists

Recent events have made it clear that Zionism perverted Judaism, by taking basic Jewish teachings and then doing the opposite. So what are two examples of basic Jewish teaching?

Two Main Jewish Teachings–The Basics

The Teaching of Hillel, straight from Chabad, a major Jewish cultural movement and center:

https://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/689306/jewish/On-One-Foot.htm

One famous account in the Talmud (Shabbat 31a) tells about a gentile who wanted to convert to Judaism. This happened not infrequently, and this individual stated that he would accept Judaism only if a rabbi would teach him the entire Torah while he, the prospective convert, stood on one foot. First he went to Shammai, who, insulted by this ridiculous request, threw him out of the house. The man did not give up and went to Hillel. This gentle sage accepted the challenge, and said:

“What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor. That is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation of this—go and study it!”

Here is another Jewish website’s take on it

Judaism’s Golden Rule

The Talmud tells the story of a gentile who came to Shammai requesting a quickie McConversion to Judaism. He asked to be taught the entire Torah while standing on one foot. Shammai had no patience for the ridiculous and disrespectful request and chased him out of the study hall.

Undaunted, the fellow then proceeded to visit Shammai’s colleague, Hillel with the same request. Hillel instructed him, “Whatever is hateful and distasteful to you, do not do to your fellow man. This is the entire Torah, the rest is commentary. Go learn.”

My Zen comment:

A monk came to Zen Master Zhao Zhou and asked for instruction.

“I have entered the monastery, please give me instructions, Master. Zhao Zhou asked, “Have you had your breakfast?” The monk answered, “Yes, I have”. Zhao Zhou replied, “Then wash your bowls.” The monk had an insight.

We respect our dirty dishes by washing them, how much more so should we respect all whom we meet?

Life is not complicated. There are whole libraries of holy books of all religions. But it all comes down to how we treat others.

The Teaching of Prophet Micah

https://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/464020/jewish/Micah.htm

“He has told thee, man, what is good and what the L-rd requires of thee. Only to do justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with thy G‑d!”

That’s quite clear and simple. However, as the website notes, at that time things weren’t going so great in Judea at the time:

Micah spoke for the oppressed and the poor. He denounced the usury and degeneracy of the rich and ruling classes. These are the prophet’s words:

“Woe to them that devise wickedness, and resolve on evil lying upon their beds; by the first light of the morning they execute it; for it is in their power. They covet fields and take them by violence, and houses and take them away. Thus they defraud the man and his house, the person and his property. Therefore, thus has said the L-rd: ‘Behold, I will devise against these families evil, from which you shall not remove your necks; nor shall you go haughtily; for it is an evil time!'”

It is an evil time, indeed!

In Their Own Words, What Do Zionists Say?

At this point, I went to Alice AI to ask them what they have to say. It did get some quotes from earlier leaders.

Here is what they said.

  • David Ben-Gurion (1937, in a letter to his son): «We must expel Arabs and take their place».
  • David Ben-Gurion (1948, in his diary, quoted in Michael Bar Zohar’s biography): «We must do everything to ensure they (the Palestinians) never do return». palestiniangenocide.org +1
  • David Ben-Gurion (1948): «The old will die and the young will forget». (Note: Some scholars argue this phrase is an accurate summary of his thinking but may not be his exact wording; others challenge its attribution.) palestiniangenocide.org +2
  • David Ben-Gurion (1938, at a Mapai Political Committee meeting, quoted in Simha Flapan’s Zionism and the Palestinians): «Politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves… The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country». en.wikiquote.org +1
  • David Ben-Gurion (1948, to the General Staff, quoted in Michael Ben-Zohar’s Ben-Gurion: The Armed Prophet): «We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population».
  • Golda Meir: «There were no such thing as Palestinians. When was there an independent Palestinian people with a Palestinian state? It was either southern Syria before the First World War, and then it was a Palestine including Jordan. It was not as though there was a Palestinian people in Palestine considering itself as a Palestinian people and we came and threw them out and took their country away from them. They did not exist».
  • Menachem Begin (in a speech to the Knesset, 1982, as reported by journalist Amnon Kapeliouk in New Statesman): «[The Palestinians] are beasts walking on two legs». (Note: Critics argue Begin was actually referring to Palestinian terrorists targeting children, not all Palestinians; pro-Israel groups have questioned the accuracy of the quote.) en.wikiquote.org +1
  • Levi Eshkol (1967, regarding the Gaza Strip): «I want them all to go, even if they go to the moon», «Precisely because of the suffocation and imprisonment there, maybe the Arabs will move from the Gaza Strip».
  • Moshe Smilansky (1914): «We must not forget that we are dealing here with a semi-savage people, which has extremely primitive concepts».
  • Aharon Cohen (1948, in a memorandum to the Political Committee of the Mapam party): «In fact, the transfer of the [Palestinian] Arabs from the boundaries of the Jewish state is being implemented… the evacuation/clearing out of [Palestinian] Arab villages is not always done out of military necessity».

Here are key excerpts from the letter sent to the New York Times in 1948 by Alber Einstein and 20 other prominent Jews:

Visit of Menachen Begin and Aims of Political Movement Discussed

To the Editor or The New York Times : Amongst the most disturbing political phenomena of our time is the emergence in the newly created state of Israel of the “Freedom Party” (Tnuat Haherut), a political party closely akin in its organization, methods, political philosophy and social appeal to the Nazi and Fascist parties. It was formed out of the membership and following of the former Irgun Zvai Leumi, a terrorist, right-wing, chauvinist organization in Palestine.

…Before irreparable damage is done by way of financial contributions, public manifestations in Begin’s behalf, and the creation in Palestine of the impression that a large segment of America supports Fascist elements in Israel, the American public must be informed as to the record and objectives of Mr. Begin and his movement. The public avowals of Begin’s party are no guide whatever to its actual character.

Today they speak of freedom, democracy and anti-imperialism, whereas until recently they openly
preached the doctrine of the Fascist state. It is in its actions that the terrorist party betrays its real character; from its past actions we can judge what it may be expected to do in the future.

What Do Modern Leaders Have to Say?

Former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on October 9, 2023, shortly after the Hamas attacks of October 7:

“I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly.”

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/sep/03/israel-far-right-minister-itamar-ben-gvir-plan-removal-palestinians-gaza

Israel’s far-right national security minister has set out a plan for the illegal forced expulsion of all Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, with the intention of sending them abroad. Speaking in the run-up to close-fought Israeli elections, Itamar Ben-Gvir said the plan aimed to remove 250,000 Palestinians from Gaza in the first year, followed by the rest of its population of roughly 2 million over the next six years.

“It’s realistic,” Ben-Gvir said, claiming there were countries that were “ready” to take in Palestinians from Gaza, without naming which ones. While the forced displacement of civilians in occupied territory is considered a war crime under the Geneva conventions, Israeli political figures have competed over the harshness of their visions for Gaza,…

In this Youtube short, journalist Abby Martin interviews Israelis on the street. Their hatred and arrogance towards their “Palestinian neighbors” is on full display.

Conclusion

In a sense, it is clear from the above two examples of Micah and Hillel, that basic Jewish teaching is quite clear on how humans should treat each other. Zionists, many of whom harbor Nazi like notions of ‘human animals”, show neither justice, kindness, mercy, nor humility.

Israelis have a well deserved reputation in countries they visit: Rudeness, dishonesty, arrogance, troublemaking. See below for videos discussing this issue.

Zionist attitudes exult in “They covet fields and take them by violence, and houses and take them away. Thus they defraud the man and his house, the person and his property.”

Galland’s “There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly’ shows no mercy or justice, especially in light of the warnings of Einstein and other Jews in 1948. This racist, ruthless, arrogant theft of land inhabited by people for centuries, has at least branded him as guilty of war crimes.

It is fair to say that relations between Jews and Christians, especially in the dualistic thinking West, have often been antagonistic, on both sides. There are elements within Judaism that are clearly ‘anti goyim’, while of course Christians have engaged in pogroms and other persecutions.

My Jewish education taught that being Chosen meant that we had extra responsibility to follow. Never again, meant that Jews should stand up against oppression, war, and mass murder. ‘For we were slaves in Egypt’. Remember the suffering Jews experienced, and don’t do that to others. The prophet Micah admonished Jews to speak out against oppression and usury.

Despite the opposition of many real Holocaust survivors within Judaism, the notion of exceptionalism and superiority not only exists, it is the tendency that has gained control in modern Israel, as well as Zionists outside of Israel.
