No member of the City Council voted against it.
As was noted by the Deputy of the Kiev City Council from the Svoboda party Yury Sirotyuk, the decision was supported by 87 deputies out of 97 members present. But none voted against it.
“Hurrah! There is an avenue of Stepan Bandera in Kiev (instead of Moscow)! “For” – 87 of 97 attendees. Against – no one. Glory To Ukraine!” wrote Sirotyuk on his page on Facebook.

….Stepan Bandera, the notorious Ukrainian Fascist, the spiritual leader of the SS Galizien, leader of the UPA (Ukrainian insurgent army), guilty of the deaths of tens of thousands of Poles, has come out of hiding near Munich in bavaria. The author of the article discusses Bandera’s talk with the so-called representatives of the Western press. In this talk, Bandera stated that he was willing to give his support and help to the Western Powers, if, of course, the Western Powers abandon their attempt to maintain lawful relations with Russia. [Apparently, he got his way posthumously—Ed.]
“Commenting on this, the author of the article states: “General Guderian, the same man who thoroughly destroyed Warsaw, is now reorganizing the General Staff of the U.S. Army. [So the US hired a Nazi General for help with the US Army. The problem is that his German army lost the war!—Ed.] Stefan Bandera, an obedient agent of Hitler’s and traitor to the Ukrainian nation, the murderer of tens of thousands of Poles, comes out into the open with the permission of the US authorities.
“Of course, I am mystified why the Voice of America [US government radio station—Ed.] has not yet broadcast the news in Polish, the news of the careers of the Nazi general, Heinz Guderian, and the Nazi Stefan Bandera. Is it that the Voice of America is ignoring the appeal of President Truman and Secretary of State Acheson, to spread the truth about the news and her policy?”

According to repatriated persons, a virtual “reign of terror” exists East of the Curzon line. A great number of Ukrainians in this area have organized themselves into ‘partisan bands’, under the overall leadership of Bandera. These bands seemto enjoy in particular the terrorization of such Poles as remain in the neighborhood. According to one Pole who returned from this area, a ‘partisan’ band attacked his village one night, burned it and killed over fifty persons and five hundred head of cattle. ….

As of March 31, 2026, the U.S. Congress has made available $195 billion in spending related to the war in Ukraine, according to the U.S. Special Inspector General for Operation Atlantic Resolve. Of the $195 billion, $164 billion comes from five pieces of legislation, the last of which was passed in April 2024. The remainder comes from annual agency budgets and other appropriations ($27 billion), and from NATO contributions received to pay for the provision of U.S. arms (allies or partners provided $4 billion in funds, which could be counted as aid from those donors).
In late 2024, the United States also provided the Ukrainian government with a $20 billion loan, not included in the $195 billion figure, provided via the World Bank and to be repaid by interest generated from frozen Russian assets.

The Case of Henry Ford
When the crimson box with the golden Maltese cross surrounded by four miniature swastikas was unveiled in front of Ford’s eyes, he grinned with pride. Henry Ford received Nazi Germany’s highest honor for foreigners, the Grand Cross of the Order of the German Eagle, before anybody else in the United States.
In 1943, forced laborers from the Buchenwald concentration camp made up nearly half of the workforce at Ford’s Cologne subsidiary plant. “The assembly lines Ford would like to forget,” the headline proclaims.

Dulles and the other high ranking intelligence officials and in the State Department, had the highest regard for the Nazi elite – the Reich’s generals, chemists, medical doctors, and engineers – whose research and achievements were mostly in wartime technology, racial hygiene, torture, and genocide. Dulles exploited his post in OSS to quash war crimes prosecutions of senior Nazi officials and German business leaders who cooperated with him in a series of clandestine schemes to secure a U.S. advantage in Central Europe. Dulles personally intervened to ensure the escape from prosecution of major German bankers and industrialists complicit in the Nazis’ extermination-through-slave-labor program. Throughout the war and the years after, his reports to Washington ignored almost entirely the massacre of Jews – as though they were of no consequence.
Conclusion
Outrageously, President Obama, having orchestrated a coup against the democratically elected President of Ukraine, using violent followers of Stepan Bandera, accused Russia of interfering in Ukraine—after Bandera followers continued their age old policy of pogroms and mass murder, as even the CIA’s own documents admit.

Because we will have our jobs and they will not. We will have our pensions and they will not. We will have care for children, for people and retirees—and they will not. Our children will go to schools and kindergartens….theirs will hole up in basements. Because they will not be able to do a thing. This is exactly how we will win this war.
And our governments in both the US and various Western regimes, UK, France, Germany, Poland, offer either financial support or weapons or intelligence support since 2014.
Yet most Americans don’t know anything about the regime that we put in power, totally illegally. And blame Russia for intervening to prevent a mass attack which was sure to follow shelling of civilians in Eastern Ukraine up to 1400 shells a day according to the quasi neutral OSCE.
This is the regime which pretends to be democratic but in fact has neo Nazis in charge. Early in Zelensky’s presidency, he was threatened with hanging by these people if he sought peace.
After Russia launched its Special Military Operation, peace talks took place, and one of the Ukrainian negotiators who had attempted accommodation with Russia, was shot to death after his return to Kiev.
Lindsey Graham ‘generously’ offered to have Ukrainians fight Russia to the last Ukrainian. We print the money, the Ukrainian people spill the blood, bury over a million in vast new graves.
This is the legacy of Stepan Bandera, whose descendents chose to destroy their country for profit and Russophobia.
And finally, Zelensky is blamed for all the failures of the Ukraine war, overlooking the fact that the US put the current regime into power, has financed him, provided weapons, intelligence and diplomatic cover. He’s a creature of the USA.
The question needs to be asked, “who was Bandera’s and his successors’ boss?” And what is their ideology and intention?
